Introduction
Although cutaneous blood flood is predominantly controlled by thermoregulation, other influences and control on microvascular blood flow is still not completely understood. Other factors influencing microcirculation may include temperature, local or proximal vessel occlusion, blood pressure, ischemic compression, hormonal activity, age, physical activity level, and disease states.5,6,10,16
